 ರಾಗ-ಅಠಾಣ                                                      ತಾಳ-ತ್ರಿಪುಟ

ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಬಲ ಒಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಘಟ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಧಾಟಬಹುದು.

ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿಯ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಏನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಈ ಕೃತಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರ್ಥೈಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.

ಮಹಾಬಲವಿಭೋ

ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ: ’ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ’ ಸೌರಮಂಡಲದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗ್ರಹ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ’ಗುರುತ್ವ’ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ೨.೫ ಪಟ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಇದರ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು ೬೩ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಉಪಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ಅಪಾರ.

ನಿರಾಶನ್ಯಮಖಪ್ರದಾತ್ರೆ ಸುಖಪ್ರದಾತ್ರೆ: ಸಂತೋಷ ಹಾಗು ಚೇತನಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ

ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ:

ಸೂರ್ಯ ರಶ್ಮಿಯ ವರ್ಣಪಟಲವನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೆ, ಒಂದೊಂದು ಗ್ರಹವು ಒಂದೊಂದು ವರ್ಣ/ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತಿದೆ.

ಹೀಗೆ  VIBGYOR ಎಂಬ ವರ್ಣಪಟಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ    ಎಂದರೆ ಹಳದಿ ಬಣ್ಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ಅವನು ಹಳದಿ ತರಂಗಾಂತರದ ಅಧಿಪತಿ.

ಆಧುನಿಕ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ನ್ಯಾನದ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಳದಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಅನೇಕ ಮನೋರೋಗಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

’ GEM THERAPY’ ಎಂಬ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ,

Maadhavaadivinuta Dheemathe- Praised -by Lord Vishnu,

Suraacharyavarya- Teacher of Gods,

Vajradhara- One who strikes thunderbolts, 

SHubhalakshaNa- One who is Gracious, 

JagatrayagurO- Lord of 3 worlds, 

Jaraadivarjitha- Lord of vigor, 

akroda- anger-less, 

Kacha Janaka- Father of Kacha, 

aashritajanakalpataro- Ocean of compassion, 

Puraari guruguha Sammoodita- Who is delightful to Shiva and Shanmukha,

Scientific significance of this Krithi:

Mahabala Vibho:Lord of great strength

Jupiter is known as the largest planet in our solar system. Apart from being huge, it has been known to have the most intense gravitational force in the solar system, close to 2.5 times what we on earth are experiencing. 

niraHNshAya sukhapradAtre: One who is the bestower of Vigor.

From the Jupiteranian angle of view, the world is the manifestation of ever blissful pleasures.

According to optics, in the solar spectrum Jupiter rules over the yellow band and Saturn the violet band i.e. from the middle of the spectrum the regions ruled by these two planets are on either side. Therefore, these two regions influence a native in opposite senses.  A native ruled by Jupiter is said to feel the existence of inherent blissful pleasures of the Supreme Soul in everything while to a native ruled by Saturn the same world appears to present itself in the form of sorrows. In other words, a Jupiterian native experiences the positive side of life while a Saturnine observes the negative side of the same.

Sukha Pradaathre:Bestower of happiness

Analysis of the solar spectrum shows that the two opposite ends are covered by the red and the violet regions. Wave length of the red band being more, the frequency is less and the reverse is the case with violet region. For the creation of life, the waves of the red region are necessary and for destruction the same of violet region is required. The region covered by Jupiter stands approximately midway between the two while the exact middle region i.e. green band is ruled by Mercury signifying new creation. These two bands viz. green and yellow influence the two ends. Of the two, the band ruled by Jupiter has wave length less than that of green band and therefore its penetrating power is more and consequently its neutralizing capacity is higher but the indigo band ruled by Venus is in the vicinity of violet region and therefore has its destructive capacity higher than that of Mercury. The wave length of the violet band being less than that of blue band, the destructive capacity of the latter is expressed through delicate feelings of apparent happiness. It, therefore, appears that the band ruled by Jupiter can neutralize to a large extent the destructive influences of other bands and therefore helps the creative function of the solar spectrum.  Therefore, it may be concluded that the benefic influence of Jupiter is the most in the planetary kingdom so far as an individual's life is concerned.                       
Recent advances in the field of  medicine shows that 'Gem Therapy' uses a stone called 'Yellow Sapphire' which is believed to absorb Yellow Cosmic rays emitted from the planet Jupiter, which indeed bears a benefic influence on the body.

Stephen Hawking says "The future of medicine lies in the curing of diseases through light and colour". But I am under the impression that Sri Dikshitar has illustrated through his Krithi that " The future of medicine lies in the curing of diseases NOT ONLY through light and colour but also through Music"

ರಕ್ತಾಂಬರಧರನಾದ ಅಂಗಾರಕನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪವಾದಂತಹ ಹಾಗು ಸಾಮ್ಯತೆಯುಳ್ಳಂತಹ ಗ್ರಹ.

ಈ ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಬರುವಂತಹ ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಹೀಗಿವೆ.

ಭೂಮಿಕುಮಾರಂ : ಭೂಮಿಯ ಪುತ್ರ.

ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ:

ಭೂಮಿ ಹಾಗು ಅಂಗಾರಕ ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದೊರುತ್ತದೆ.

- ಎರಡು ಆಂತರಿಕ ಗ್ರಹಗಳು.

- ಅನುಪಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲು ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಹದ ಅಂಶಗಳು ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ.

- ಕಡಿಮೆ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗುವುದು.

- ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಉಪಗ್ರಹಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಂಡು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

- ರಿಂಗ್ಸ್ ಕಂಡಿಲ್ಲ.

- ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕ ಭ್ಹರಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣ.

- ಕಡಿಮೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಕಾಂತಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ.

ಐರನ್ ಆಕ್ಸೈಡ್ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಈ ಗ್ರಹವು ಕೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣವುಳ್ಳುವುದು.

ಮಂದಸ್ಮಿತ ವಿಲಸಿತ ವಕ್ತ್ರಂ: ನಗೆಮುಖವುಳ್ಳ ಗ್ರಹ.

ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ’ಗೇಲ್’ ಎಂಬ ಕುಳಿಯು ನಗೆಮುಖವುಳ್ಳುವುದು. ನಗೆ ಮುಖದ ಭ್ರಮೆ, ಒಂದು ಬಾಗಿದ ಪರ್ವತವು, ಕುಳಿಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗು ೨ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪರ್ವತ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು ಕುಳಿಯ ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಿರುವುದು.

ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಧುನಿಕ ವೈಜ್ಯ್ನಾನಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೋಲುವ ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಕ್ಷಿತರು ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Translation:

angArakaM ASrayAmyahaM vinatASrita jana mandAraM-
I seek shelter under Angaaraka,who is like a wish-yielding tree to his devotees. The one who rules over Tuesday, and is the son of Earth.

SRngAraka mEsha vRScika rASyadhipatiM-The lord of the beautiful signs of the zodiac,Aries and Scorpio.

raktAngaM raktAmbarAdi dharaM Sakti SUla dharam -The red-coloured one,who is wearing red silk.The one bearing the weapons shakthyaayudha and shoola.

mangaLaM kambu gaLaM manjuLa-tara pada yugaLaM -The auspicious-one,who is conch-necked, with lotus-like feet.

mangaLa dAyaka mEsha turangaM makarOttungam –One who is the harbinger of auspiciousness ,who is exalted in Capricorn.

dAnava sura sEvita manda smita vilasita vaktraM-The one worshipped by the demons and gods and the one who has a smiling face.

dharaNI pradaM bhrAtR kArakaM rakta nEtram -The bestower of land,the significator for brothers,who is red-eyed.

dIna rakshakaM pUjita vaidya nAtha kshEtraM -The protector of the weak,who is worshipped at the kshethra of Vaidhyanaatha ie Vaidhiishwaran koil.

divyaughAdi guru guha kaTAkshAnugraha pAtram -The beneficiary of the grace of the gods and of guha.

bhAnu candra guru mitraM bhAsamAna sukaLatraM -The one who is the friend of the Sun,moon and Jupiter and has a beautiful consort.

jAnustha hasta citraM caturbhujaM ati vicitram -The one who has four hands and is seated with his hands on his knees.

Scientific significance of this Krithi

Mars is the second smallest planet after mercury in our solar system. There are several instances in this krithi ,which says there are similarities between earth and mars.

Bhoomikumaram: Son of Earth

Scientific significance: Mars is probably the most similar planet to earth in our solar system. Following are some of the list of similarities which is observed astronomically:

-          Both are within the “inner planets”

-          Both are considered small

-          Made of proportional amount of rock and metal

-          Spin slowly

-          Have few moons

-          Don’t have rings

-          Have oxygen rich atmospheres

-          Have weak magnetic fields

raktAngaM raktAmbarAdi dharaM: Red planet

Termed as a red planet because of the iron oxide prevalent on it’s atmosphere.

manda smita vilasita vaktraM- One with a smiling face

Astronomical evidences say, a crater named Galle on Mars, is known as a happy face crater, because, the illusion of a smiley, is created by a curved mountain range in the southern part of the crater and 2 smaller mountain clusters further north.

Mars and it's physical features have been neatly personified in this Krithi by Sri Dikshitar.

                            ಶ್ರೀ ಶುಕ್ರಭಗವಂತಂ

ರಾಗ-ಫ಼ರಜ್                                                   ಖಂ. ಅಟ್ಟತಾಳ

ಸೌರಮಂಡಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾದ ಗ್ರಹವೆಂದರೆ ಶುಕ್ರಗ್ರಹ.

೨೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ’ದೆಶೆ’ಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಪಡಿಸುವಂತಹ ಗ್ರಹವಿದು.

ಈ ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರನ ಚಲನವಲನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಧಾರವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.

ಧವಳಗಾತ್ರಂ: ಬಿಳಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ದೇಹ.

ಶುಕ್ರ ಗ್ರಹದ ಬೆಳಕು ಎಷ್ಟೆಂದರೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಛಾಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವಂತಹದ್ದು.

ವಕ್ರ : ಶುಕ್ರನ ಚಲನವಲನವು ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವಂತಹದ್ದು.

ಖಗೋಳ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಈ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ದಾಖಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರನ ಚಲನವಲನ, ಹೊಳಪಿನ ತೀವ್ರತೆ ಹಾಗು ಓರೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.

Translation:

shrIshukrabhagavantaM cintayAmi santataM sakalatattvajHnam – I always meditate upon the Lord Shukra, who is the knower of all truths.

he shukrabhagavan mAm Ashu pAlaya vRSatulAdhIsha daityahitopadesham- O Shukra, the lord of Vrishabha and Tula Raashi, who is the counsellor of demons, rescue me!

viMshativatSaroDudashavibhAgam- One who bestows beneficial influence for a duration of 20 years, aSTavargaM kaviM kalatrakArakaM- One having 8 vargas, the poet, one who always confers material wealth,

ravinirjaraguruvairiNaM- One who is inimical to Sun and Guru, navAMshahorAdrekkANAdivargottamavasarasamaye vakroccanIcasvakSetravarakendramUlatrikoNe trimshAMshasaSTyAMshairavatAMshaparijAtAMshagopurAMsharAjayogakArakaM -  One who has a retrograde motion and who bestows Raja Yoga,these terms refers to the particular combination of Vargas

rAjuapradaM guruguhamudam – Who confers royalty and kingdom and delights Guruguha.

Scientific aspects of this Krithi:

DhavaLa Gaatram: White-colored body.

After  moon, Venus is the brightest coloured body in our planetary system, bright enough to cast shadows.

Vimshati VatsaroduDashaavibhaagaM: spread it’s effect for 20 years in one’s life.

Vakra: Retrograde motion of Venus. Astronomical evidences have proven that Venus rotates in the opposite direction from every other planet. If the clouds on Venus, Venusians would see the sun rise in the west and set in the east.

Venus’s axial tilt is 177.3 deg. The planet is almost upside. If we subtract 180-177.3 we get 2.7 deg. That means venus is upside down and has a tilt of 2.7 deg.

Navamsha,Hora, Drekana: Point of vernal equinox,where the sun passes from the south to the North of the celestial equator.  Astronomically, Venus is at it’s brightest best at the end of April.

Tilted just 3 degrees on its axis and with a small orbit around the sun, Venus seasons last just 55 to 58 days with just slight temperature variations.

This Navagraha krithi, not only describes physical features of Venus, but certain mathematical details with reference to it's angle of tilt is also elaborated.

                                ಬುಧಂ ಆಶ್ರಯಾಮಿ

ರಾಗ-ನಾಟಕುರಂಜಿ                                           ತಾಳ-ಮಿಶ್ರ ಝಂಪೆ

ಚಂದ್ರನ ಮಗನಂತೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಬುಧನು ಸೌರಮಂಡಲದ ಅತಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಗ್ರಹ.

ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅತಿ ಸಮೀಪವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಬುಧ ಗ್ರಹನ ತಾಪಮಾನ ಬಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚು.

ಈ ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುವ ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡೋಣ.

ಚಂದ್ರತಾರಾಸುತಂ: ಚಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ತಾರೆಯ ಪುತ್ರ.

ವೈಜ್ನಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ: ಬುಧ-ಚಂದ್ರರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಾಮ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಅವೇನೆಂದರೆ:

೧. ವಾಯುಮಂಡಲ ರಹಿತ ಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕುಳಿಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬರುವುದು.

೨. ಈ ಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ,ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗುರುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ.

೩. ತಾಪಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಳಿತಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.
